As part of this collaboration, WPS supported the successful launch and operation of Telemundo’s 24/7 FAST channel on Peacock, delivering a reliable, scalable, and high-performance streaming workflow.

To support this deployment, WPS implemented a fully optimized, real-time streaming workflow designed to ensure reliability and low-latency delivery. High-quality SRT contribution feeds are processed and redistributed with both HLS and SRT playback options, enabling adaptive and resilient content delivery across multiple platforms.

A core element of the solution is real-time SCTE-35 trigger insertion, enabled through KWIKmotion, allowing precise and seamless ad signaling. This plays a critical role in supporting FAST channel monetization and ensuring accurate ad delivery within an always-on streaming environment. In parallel, WPS implemented advanced content routing capabilities to guarantee smooth and efficient distribution across all required endpoints.

Captioning was another key pillar of the deployment. In addition to embedded CEA-608 closed captions for compliance, WPS introduced Live AI Captions, delivering real-time, AI-generated subtitles during live playback. This enhances accessibility, improves viewer engagement, and supports a broader, multilingual audience.

To meet NBCUniversal’s specific operational and technical requirements, WPS also developed customized libraries and tools, creating a robust and scalable environment capable of supporting continuous 24/7 broadcasting and high-demand workflows.
